MKII owners manual New or Old

I watched a MKII owners manual sell for big $$ on ebay this morning... but i guess the question is.. was it original or a repro? Sunbeam specialties has repro'ed them for now over 20 years... so repros can certainly have a patina. The repros are also very close to original.

i have an original MII manual.. i discovered it was not a repro when a few guys from the board asked for detail photos of it and it was found to be a rootes item. Just wondering if the one that was sold is real.. or just an older Sunbeam Specialties one

Hi Michael, my guess is that the one that sold on ebay is a reprint. I once quickly compared an original with a repop side by side and the only obvious difference was the texture and sheen of the inside white pages.

The interior pages of the real one were almost a semi gloss with a bit of a sheen, the repop pages had no shine and had a little more texture.
