Monte Carlo Rally 2023

This week 3 of the 5 surviving factory rally Tigers took on the 2023 Monte Carlo Historique in Southern France... with pretty good results!

"The just completed Monte Carlo Historique saw the Sunbeam Tigers properly 'Sharpen their Claws' in gaining a superb result for the 3 teams. Huge congratulations to the pilots and navigators for their great performance:
8th O/A Maxime Castelein / Filip Deplancke AHP 294B (B9470014)
24th O/A Geert De Jaeger / Cedric De Jaeger ADU 312B (B9470012)
112th O/A Carlo Mylle / Steven Vyncke in ADU 311B (B9470011) "

There were 250 entries for the rally this year. The conditions were not so severe as it was in January when Peter Harper and Ian Hall came 4th overall, but the Tigers and their crews showed their metal to very good effect!!

Taking a shot in the dark here (pun intended), maybe no fog was expected and the driver simply wanted to protect the fog light lenses from flying debris, since fog lights were not needed?

But at least the bonnet was properly shut
