Hello everyone

Are there any Tiger get togethers or events during Monterey Motor week?

Tons of events ( free too) but Tiger sightings are rare. There is usually one Tiger in Pacific Grove on Friday at the big show on Lighthouse ave. In the afternoon.

tigers in Carmel

There's usually several at the Concourse on the Avenue in Carmel on Tuesday.

A free event, get there early ( 8:00 am), park on the street around 7th and Delores and watch the cars roll in and register. Definitely one of my favorite events at car week.

at LSR

The Tiger's class is not running the Pre Reunion Weekend.
But the class will run in the actual Reunion. I know of 3 Tigers that have been invited: Starke Shelby's, Tom Sakai's and ours.

Tom will also race his "Love Bug" Alpine. Steven will run his beautiful Sebring Alpine.

The Tigers practice at 4:20 on Thursday, 4:10 on Friday and then race twice on Sunday (11:35 & 3:40)

hope to see many of you in our pits,

Buck,

Monterey Tickets available

I have two team-passes available (Aug 23-26) . I think these cost $150.00 each. I will take whatever you can kick in. Go to Monterey on the cheep, even if you just use them one day.

I will have my MK1 on the avenue again this year and I'm not aware of any other Tigers entered. Look for British Sports category there are always fine examples of XKE's etc. I live in Carmel and go to all of the events each year
and the Concours on The Avenue is my favorite by far. It's free to the public but is funded by the invited entries and donors as noted go EARLY as it is the most popular event.
Mecum has a MK1 going up for auction sometime on Friday
