My fuel pump install

Just ordered 1 foot of Pegasus 910 6AN Kevlar Braided PTFE Racing Hose and two 6AN strait hose fittings. Once I flip the bracket around and use the rubber mounts to secure the pump I will replace the hard line to the filter with the braided hose. That should quite the noise quite a bit.

If you viewed my video's taken with the top/windows up, you can hear the pump.

Pictures when done.

As an update to my install, I added rubber washers 2"OD/5/8"IDx1/8
and fender washers under the feedthru fittings on both sides and that eliminated the noise created by the vibration traveling down the SST braided fuel line.
The pump is very quite now.........This pump puts out a constant 6 psi at the carb and is easy to adjust....

Much better now -

I will be restoring the trunk in the near future and will fill the unnecessary holes and tidy other things up. Only thing left to do is a relay and switch.

Installed a relay to get the pump good power. I also installed a switch to turn pump off when needed.

One more change not pictured, removed the 90 degree fitting coming out of the pump and going into the filter. I installed straight fitting and then ran the flexible line.

I am also close to the limit of this pump as it is rated for 480 HP.
