C.A.T.’s October member meeting will be on Sunday, October 12th at the San Diego British Car Day. The show is recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Tiger. This is a great opportunity for our friends in San Diego County and points north to celebrate the Tiger 50th. We plan to have our meeting around 11 a.m.

The show is from 9-3 at the Embarcadero Marina Park North, Downtown San Diego. Cars for showing are requested to be there at 7:30.

The Park address is 500 Kettner Blvd.

From I 5 south:

• take I-5 S/San Diego Fwy S toward Downtown.

• Merge onto Front St via EXIT 17 toward Civic Center.

• Turn right onto W Cedar St.
If you reach W Beech St you've gone a little too far

• Turn left onto Kettner Blvd.
Kettner Blvd is just past India St
If you reach California St you've gone a little too far

• 500 KETTNER BLVD.

No Tiger? No problem. You can even take the train right to downtown. Join us for a pleasant day in San Diego.

Not to be picky but this coming Sunday is the 5th, the meeting is 2 weeks from yesterday? If anyone is going and there really is a Tiger on the shirt might I interest you in picking one up for me? PM if you can. Thanks.

It's a big drive from Torrance .Thinking of a way to break up trip down.
 
Debut

Fun show, nice seeing everyone. Brought my car out for the first time. Almost finished just little things to address and get it sorted out. The original owners son even came out for the show to see Dad's old car and brought me some great stuff like the original owners manual, the service record book and misc paperwork from when he took European Delivery and his travels around Europe with the car. Even the shipping bill to get it to LA from London ($323). They damaged the oil pan in transit and it had to be replaced at Larry Reed Sportscars for a whopping $39.00. Try that today!
 
Mike your car is STUNNING!!!!! The resto pics you have posted have been great.. but what a result.. and cool to see it on steels.

Now all you need are the bias ply white walls! :p

Thank you for the compliments, coming from you that means alot. Makes all of the hard work worth it. I thought about the bias ply whitewalls but it drives poorly enough with the little radials I couldn't imagine with bia ply tires, scary! Also with all of the white in the stripes I thought it a bit overwhelming. I know to be accurate I need the whitewalls. Will see. Thanks again.
