Bought my Tiger MKII in 1984
Still looking for Push rod retaining clip.
This clip hold the push rod to the Clutch release lever .

Any idea !!!!!

I have several here that belong to owner's projects plus our own. We tried duplicating them a couple of times but can't get the bent wire to hold spring-temper. Any metal experts out there? And then there's those nasty shop man-hours spent tweaking the little steel wire . . . . . . .

Sure would be nice to have a convenient list of unobtainium parts... Yes, I realize it is getting longer by the day...

Rookie here remembers leaving the push rod loosely hanging while (after) pulling motor and transmission last month.

As the parts are out of sight for the last few weeks... I've no idea if still there.

<cue repeat of this title over the next XXX months and maybe years...>

Clip

Have them made by a spring place? I frequently have to obtain small quantities of weird shaped springs for pipe organs whose manufacturers have been out of business for decades or centuries. There's a small spring manufacturer in San Diego who's always happy to fill my strange requests - must be several in LA. The set up fee's usually a killer, but after that the per each usually isn't too bad.

I have a bolt and no spring at all. Having never seen the real thing , just the re pop rod on eBay the spring only keeps rod captive if slave becomes loose or pressure failure right?

I would like to inform those who need a pushrod spring clip, I have manufactured two different styles. One style an "easy to mount" type, and the other style is OEM style, which has double loops, and thru the hole. These are manufactured using .125 diameter S.S. spring wire. I have them on eBay or if interested, please contact me. $18.95 each + shipping. Thank you, Tim Morin

Luv the video w/sanitary blue gloves. The clutch arm notch is Ford's way of locating the return tension spring in several manual operated applications. The 9-1/4" arm existed for use in many Ford models long before it found it's way into a Tiger . . . . . . . .

You mention the 9.25 clutch arm, C5AZ-7515A as being original to the TIGER not the C3AZ-7515A 10.0 inch arm. Most Tigers are 1964, C4 parts. Will a 10 inch arm work now that the 9.25 arms are obsolete?

9-1/4" arms are still in the aftermarket catalogues. The rod end form is different but it will all still work with Tiger fittings. The short throw action keeps the slave piston in it's hole. I've never tested a 10" arm but suspect that the longer throw would prevent a clean disengagement.
