What's this off of? Slightly larger than the convex MK1 model by about 3/4"
Mfg. Wingard painted and not plated pot metal with no little ridge on the top of the mountain.
Not sure , I would say that all the ones I have are pitted and would be harder to replate . It'd be a really great mirror if it was convex rather than flat. I remember our buddy Paul Scofield telling me he paid 100 bucks to get a mirror resilvered and way more to get a pitted mirror made nice.
This one also has a painted and not plastic backed .
Warren, its not an alpine mirror, but looks similar to some of the audux range minx mirrors pre 1963.
There is a guy on saoca ill ask, bet he will know what its off if its rootes
It didn't come with the Husky that I found on eBay, thanks Ross.
The base where it screws on is missing a small ledge which aligns on the screen frame, but I also have a smaller chromed and similar one on the Tiger now.
Anyone have a source for the convex MK1 model Tiger mirror.
Only seen a couple early Alpines.
This thread will move to Body soon.
I was sure it wasn't a Tiger mirror but wanted to point out the differences.
There's also early mirrors being sold as Tiger ones without the little ledge, so if you're into those details take note.
