SAAC38

Dan Walters and Frank Zizzo will be taking Frank's historic Car and Driver Pinto there.

I'll be driving George Boskoff to the Former Shelby Anerican Employees Reunion which will be held at the speedway in conjunction with the SAAC Convention, so I'll be out there.

If you want to get together send me a PM so we can swap contact information.

I would like to come up on Saturday for the show. Will there be a fee or any restrictions on getting in?

If you click on the link I posted there is a "home" button--that goes to SAAC. I believe there is more info and a "contact us" box. Hope to see some of you there---I will be in a Tiger shirt (hopefully). :)

Sat

I would like to drive out Sat. from South bay. We should all try to meet up some place. Bruce , scope it out Friday and let us know. Carpool or W/E lunch PM me or Kidz ..

I will be at the track until mid afternoon Saturday then heading back up north--it would be nice to put a few faces with names.

Guess Who?

The SAAC Convention also was the site of this year's reunion of Former Shelby American Employees. In the picture on the right, I caught a couple Sunbeam old timers chatting.

Who, besides Bruce and Steve Alcala, can identify them?

Give yourself double points if know all 3.

Buck--it was great to see you Friday, thanks for everything. It sure was nice chatting with George, he told me quite a bit about his past, good times.
I saw Warren and Lee on Saturday, we looked like twins in our CAT shirts. haha.

On Friday I had the chance to talk to a former Shelby American employee, John Stuci (sp?).

Before SA he worked for Ken Miles. One of his contributions to Sunbeam history was helping Ken put a Ford engine into an Alpine for Ian. He was amazed to learn it still exists.

Twins

Okay which of us is the evil twin Bruce?
I was wearing a sale item from T. Utd. This twin can not resist a sale..
Hoped to see more Tigers there but we were well represented by Dale.

I paid full price for mine, what a sucker. :)
I would have liked to have seen more Tigers but at least the one there was outstanding. Maybe the Shelby guys will think all Tigers are that nice and want to buy one, next thing you know we're like Cobra prices. haha
