Anyone have some pics of how you mounted 3-point seat belts in your Tiger?

Thanks,
Bill

Don't have picture however on my V Alpine there is the standard mounts either side of the seat and there is a nut welded to the inner rear fender (you may have to check for the hole or remove the covering). The third seatbelt point mounts to this section.:)

Yes there are 2 mounting holes on the rear inner guards. To locate these through the inner trim I drilled out the end of a 7/16 UNF bolt so that it had very thin outer wall. I sharpened the end of this, the screwed it through from the underside, and it cut a perfect hole through the upholstery, properly aligned to fit the seatbelt bolts.

When you are removing the plastic plugs in the rear area mounting holes, be very careful. Their heads on the fender well side have a big wide slot. Be sure you use a screwdriver whose tip fits rather tightly in the slot. That plastic has become pretty brittle after all these years. I gave it a shot of PB blaster first. Even though the plug is plastic, I figured the potential for a little lubrication would not hut.Try turning the plug gently in and out a bit to get it loose and then back out slowly. If it breaks off in the threads of the body, your project just got a lot longer.

Gene,
One plug missing, the other the head is already broken off. Let the fun begin!
