I have added some registration information - BTW I copied Buck’s original thread

We'll hold our monthly CAT membership meeting in conjunction with the Shelby Club's annual car show which will begin at 10AM on September 14 at the Shelby facility on Figueroa in Gardena. (19021 S Figueroa, 90248)

We're planning on an 11AM meeting, probably in their upstairs conference room. Details will be posted in this Forum's CAT member area. Bring folding chairs

For those who want to enter the car show, the entry information is expected to be available in August. The Tigers will be in the shade, inside the building.

Obviously show cars should arrive early.

Updates

Buck recently sent out an email about this meeting. Here is the latest information from Buck:

We'll hold our September CAT membership meeting in conjunction with the Shelby Club's annual car show.

Folks, this will be a great event! This will certainly be this year’s premier Shelby event in SoCal.

Peter Miles, Ken Miles son, will be the event’s Guest of Honor in a salute to the Ford Le Mans program. Many of those who were prominent in the Shelby Tiger history are planning to attend including Charlie and Kerry Agapiou, Dave Friedman, Jim O’Leary, Ted Sutton not to mention J.L. Henderson. Dave Friedman will also attend.

This event will also co-host the annual reunion of former Shelby employees.

We each have a choice of either simply attending the show (free with street parking) or also having our cars entered as a “show car”($$). (see link for specifics) Some may want to purchase $65 VIP tickets which will give access to a special panel discussing Shelby racing plus a special autograph session.

Officially, the show will begin at 9AM on September 14 at the Shelby facility on Figueroa in Gardena. (19021 S Figueroa, 90248)

Show Cars should start arriving much earlier, perhaps closer to 7 when the gates will open.

We're planning on an 11AM CAT Membership meeting, in their upstairs conference room. Details will be posted in this Forum's CAT member area. Bring folding chairs.

For those who want to enter the car show, the entry information is already available at the link below. Please submit it as soon as possible.

Shelby Event pics

Here are a few pics from the Shelby Club/Tiger Club event. [Let me know if the links don't work]
Most pics don't have any captions yet, so you are on your own. I don't have details on most, so if you have any info you would like to add, I will put it in the caption. I suspect that most of you on this forum will already know what most/all of these devices are.

Thanks for the note about 2 of the links not loading. I have re-listed them, & also left the original links there since they worked for me & maybe one will work better for some than others.

[edit to add]
[If anyone has any more info on any of the cars, please let me know & I can add it to the caption for that car. This is as much just more info & details for me as much as anything, so I can have more specific info on the cars in the pics.]

[If anyone wants their face or car blurred out or deleted, let me know.]

For me, I can see the pictures with the link to Vol 1, but not Vol 2 & 3.

I took a few pictures.

The Tiger group picture was before Bob Wright (2nd place Winner) joined the
lineup.

David Craft's Freshly restored Blue Tiger took 1st place.

(BTW you CAN see a little of Bob Wright's Tiger in the reflection of the Craft Tiger.)
