Sorry to hear about your mirror breaking. I am sure it looked great before the accident. I hope that it doesn't stop someone else from trying to fix theirs, though.

Dang! That sucks! Hopefully someone else will put that kit to good use.

Most of it does still look good, just not the left side, where I really need the mirror. Oh well.
 
Re-silver kit

Well, I managed to fix my mirror. I found a convex sports style mirror and was lucky to find a hot rod glass shop brave enough to cut it to size.

So... I still have the re-silver kit if anybody is interested in fixing their mirror problems. If not, I will be opening up bidding among my local car guys.
 
Willing to try, and have 'extra' mirror

the daughter ripped the mirror off the pivot, or more specifically broke off at pivot... I was able to replace with a mirror that's correct, but not great. this could be an opportunity to try and then try on the current one too. Side mirror could use it if successful!
