Hi I'm in the process of replacing the plastic surround on my steering wheel
with wood ( mahgony) . What I would like to know is how many segments is a Tiger wheel made of, is it 3 on the back and 3 on the front I can't tell by the pictures i was looking at ? Thanks :)
 
Cores

I have a core or two about. Seen the black band in the wheel even home spun ones with the band in the wrong position.
If you'd like to do more than 1 pm me.

Hi, well I finished the wood surround on my steering wheel and it turned out real good. Lots of hrs involved but worth every minutes !
You said you had a few cores, are they sale and what's are the hub condition on them like .If you want to see the finished wheel I can send you a few pics...

Hi Tim, would like to do another one it was a fun project but I don't really have time to do another one at the moment ,arrival of summer and everything that goes with that...
Let me think about it and besides there's a lot of the work I can do without the wheel. Regards Vince :)

Thanks for the thought.....my car is still in pieces....im shooting for the june 2014 tiger event in colorado....so even winter would be great but not worries....
