This weeks issue of SPORTS CAR WEEKLY shows Peter Klutt's (Dream Car Garage) collection up for auction at Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach in August. I seem to recall that he pulled out of a Hemmings listing for his Tiger this winter after A Tiger went for $200 large.

Monterey Auction

Peter had his mkll in his inventory with a nice white mkl with a red interior also. If memory serves me correct he was asking around $100 for the mkll, until right after the Monterey auctions of the two mkll's that both were hammered sold at $210k . Right after that, both his Tigers ceased to be in his inventory for cars for sale. I believe the mkll used to belong to the former President of the Colorado Tiger club, Don Perez. It will be interesting to see what the auction price will be. It's a beauty.

Has anyone heard the hammer price of the Commodore Blue Mkll at the Gooding and Co. Monterey auction that would have been presented either August 16th or today?

Auctions and topic drift

I would be interested in seeing the Commodore blue MK2 results. A White car 92 sold for 93,000 and there's an no reserve with questionable "numbers matching claims as well as verified from "The Rootes Archive Center Trust Certificate of Authenticity." by Classic Showcase....a Jaguar restorer...

In my experience, Gooding Cars almost always look pretty nice. I know there are often quirks / fixes to find even with the best.
