SUNI Survey

Many of the Rootes clubs have recently emailed out a survey designed to measure interest in a SUNI to be held a year from this coming September in Independence, MO.

It promises to be a spectacular event but the organizers need to know how many would be interested in attending.We can't afford to throw a party and then have a lot of no shows.

The clubs started sending the survey out a few days ago and one or two hope to get it to their members this weekend. Please fill out yours ASAP. The better our data, the better our decisions.

With all the Covid cancellations this year, there should be quite a pent up demand for the SUNI by next year. That's why I expect it to be one of the best attended ever. That's assuming by that point there is an effective vaccine or drug, so people are comfortable enough to attend large group events and socialize like we used to. That's a big if, but there are a ton of experts working on this all around the world, a co-ordinated effort unlike any before, so fingers crossed.

My wife and I will be there if all clear. I'm actually hoping our two boys (30 & 33 yo) and spouses will attend as well, so we can bring two Tigers and the Alpine. Would love to help inject some more youth into the event to encourage the future caretakers of our cars.

Survey

As you'll see in the cover letter to the survey, the organizers intend to postpone or cancel if the world at that time is not safe for people in the age group of Sunbeam owners to travel in September of 2021.

Hope we can get this put together and see you again.
