Tachometer ignition wire holder

I am replacing the wiring harness in my Mk I. I have the tach out. I have the tach ignition wire holder, but I am told there is supposed to be a flat copper square loop that the tach wire is supposed to wrap around with the wire holder. I think I am missing this piece, which I think pushes into the back of the tach (if this makes any darn sense....). Does anyone have a close up photo of the back of their tach that shows the the holder and associated pieces, as well as the wire loop direction? Thanks.

Helpful?

The little plastic blocks are available through the normal parts suppliers

I have all of the parts... pics in a bit

Here are the parts. Also available from Sunbeam Specialties for $26.50. (part # D161) if you want these... $10 plus postage. As for the direction of the loop.... if it doesn't work one way, simply reverse!

Hottigr--Thank you for this drawing! I am missing the metal "spade bracket" that fits btw the plastic piece and the round nut & plugs into the tach. This now makes sense. Austin--let me look around a bit and see I I've got the piece somewhere....otherwise, I'll get back to you on buying your parts. Thank you. v/r, Keith
