Wow, I've got a headache trying to read this post. Spell check and punctuation are our friends! Most of the posts on here which try to point out questionable cars at least don't get personal by mentioning names.
Also, if you think TAC is a joke, how else is one to determine authenticity?
Just askin'

Sunbeam 260 downed a few before he wrote that diatribe. I'm not sure what he is complaining about.

A favorite quote

Comes to mind after reading that angry post.
"Dammit Jim I'm a doctor not a brick mason," Mc Coy, original Star Trek.

In this case after talking to our member weeks ago I learned he is a career truck driver. As I am sure he would tell you his yellow car failed a TAC inspection. The failure was due to it being raced hard crashed repeat, till signature elements were in local landfill or reforged into Asian lawn furniture.

The message should be get your car TACed enjoy it however you chose keep all parts smashed or not whenever possible, have a baby picture book and file for the car and not a drawer in the shed or tool box.

Now back to the red car. The disclaimer on the bottom of the Mecum page puts it all on the seller who put up a few flattering pictures cropped or low resolution pics in a way to miss most of the good stuff, too bad for us long distance admirers.
