The Other air cleaner

Given how much of the early LAT stuff was listed from the Corba stock is it the same housing as use don some of the MKII Cobras?

Every chrome part repop I have bought , was made god knows where.
All had chrome that doesn't last.

I have a Tiger pal who has more air cleaners and car accessories,them my Mrs. has purses.

Not that there's anything wrong with that:)
 
As I don't have the original air cleaner, I installed the S&H. Figured it was period and Ford engine, British car correct :)

It also clears the hood, no problem, with a Performer intake and 1/4" phenolic spacer.
 
S & H Air Cleaner

When I bought my Mk 1 it was missing the air cleaner so I purchased a Stelling & Hellings because I assumed it was the Lat 1 super induction option. Even though I found an original many years ago, I still run the S & H. I also believe it was run on the Super Tiger and it also shows up in my Sunbeam Accessory brochure, as the air cleaner in the Lat 1 option. I have uploaded a copy of the brochure page.
 
I purchased this air cleaner back in the early 80's from the Tiger judge at Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC). He sent paperwork and a letter confirming that it is indeed an LAT 1 option unit, finally found it buried in my parts pile. I have not cleaned it yet because a friend wants to use it on his original Cobra in Monterey--wants that patina'd look. He is looking into it but he thinks it is correct for that car too. hmmmm.
