I have 3 bumpers and I want to re-chrome 2. Are the front and back bumpers the same and Tiger and Alpine same? Thanks, Cliff

The bumpers are the same-the mounting brackets are different though.
Also late model Alpines have two holes drilled on top of the rear bumper for the license plate lights so you can't move that one to the front!

Ah, so that's what those 2 holes are for.

As said, the bumpers are the same.

Thanks. When we started the restoration, the front frame horns needed repair, and the metal guy wanted a good bumper to us for fit. I ordered the bumpers out of Vietnam. They look very nice, but are a little different and they are stainless steel. So I've decided to have the originals repaired and chromed.

Print out one of the frame charts that are available. The location of the front frame horns and the captured mount nut are one of those things that will make or break the final result.

Thanks for the su. suggestion, Randy. I think we did that but I'll double check. Cliff

I ordered the Bumpers from Vietnam, and they came quick (ordered on Tuesday, arrived DHL the next Tuesday). My car had the bumpers removed and I had to weld in the nuts to the front frame. A nice surprise was the bumpers came with all the hardware (nuts bolts spacers)except the bumper brackets I got those from classic sunbeam

Do you have a link to one of these frame charts, or are you using the one in the shop manual?
