Simple question! Is the '67 Alpine hardtop the same as a '65 Tiger Hardop???

They will fit yes.. but there are a few detail differences.
The MKIA/II and SV Alpine tops have the brackets to allow the rubber straps to hold the later vinyl hood covering when the top is stowed and hardtop is on.
The later tops used larger buttons in the side windows in an attempt to stop them crazing.
There was also a change in the rear rubber seal to the body and the B post clips.
However if its a good rust free top, grab it!!!

The top I was interested in comes with a complete running 1967 Alpine attached to the bottom of it....not sure why!! I was contemplating the purchase to use up an extra motor and trans by building a Tiger clone with my son, but he has nixed the idea (He wants a '69 Camaro), so I will make the matching numbered 260 a dining table centerpiece, and finish the car out for now with the 350 horse SVO crate motor and Tremec 5 speed. Apparrently I will drive topless...........for now.....
