Tiger MKII for Sale

Buck,
I don't think you ever saw this photo of my series 4 when Doug was restoring it. I found that Doug had set Tom Pattons rear fenders on the Alpine. Jean said something about not being able to buy wheels that would fit.

Three of the four were based on cars that started with a four cylinder engine and later had a conversion that had a V8 added . I've never driven an SP250 but have driven the other three many times. I guess from a financial investment view point that buying a Tiger 20 years ago would bring a few more dollars if you were to sell it now. I remember the day in the early 80's that Jean and I headed to Columbus to buy a Tiger for 10K. The same guy had a very early series 1 Alpine and lots of extra parts that was in much better shape than the Tiger so the Tiger stayed in Columbus. It wouldn't be hard to make a couple dollars today if she had bought the Tiger. How much would a Tiger be devalued if the engine was the wrong color?
