Can someone post a photo of the end of the strap that holds up the wooden trunk deck I need to see the metal part that hooks onto the trunk since mine has been gone a long time

Rick at S>S> has them . . . .(no affil)

This is the original strap and the one on the lid is SS replacement. Just replaced last spring the original was ready to break. Have pic but IP has been baned for some reason.

I have had the ip banned message too. It happens when using a very slow ISP connection. Please add your pictures using the edit function.
I am away from my cars so can't shoot a picture.

Lets try this again, looks like nothing coming through on FB ether.

the wire hook is used on the MK2's-the stamped steel one used on all other Tigers.

Bill, thanks for the clarification. Makes sense that Chrysler would change them out. Seems that I'll be looking to get the Wire version to replace my stamped steel. Does Rick stock them separately from the entire trunk deck?

If rick/curt dont have them i would say the wire hook will be able to be sourced via other types of suplliers.. Think sailing, camping or equestrian...

Actaully not that disimilar to a slightly larger verison of the hooks on the sv/ mkia/ mkii Soft top cover straps... Anyone got a pic to hand?

Thanks for the leads. They look similar to Civil War backpack hooks that I've metal detected here in VA.

Spoke to Rick and yes he has the hooks. The guy that attaches them to the straps will be back in October, so I'll wait until then to correct that piece on my MKII.
