Trunk lid

Any idea I have tried everyting except cutting the trunk lid , the trunk lid move time to time and scratch the paint on one side , i was thinking of adding rubber to stop the trunk lid to move . ( $%?&&&**)

The use of rubber hinge gaskets instead of the original paper gaskets lets the trunk lid move or the latch isn't adjusted correctly which moves the lid when latched.

Rubber gaskets.. Or. Are you missing the small trunk buffer brackets? They also help locate it laterally as well as stopping the lid closing down to far

I have made myself 2 cork gasket , also the 2 rubber buffer are there , I have also move the spring to the second hole !!!! ( wich I will put back to the first hole) !!!!
