No such thing if the installers did what they wanted at their whims for the day.

I agree with Duke. Although the Brits were sticklers for detail & ceremony, the upheavals of the socialist labour market of the day had the rank and file misbehaving. I'm surprised the final assembly was as accurate as it was. The rapid decline of the small Brit car market was due to poor politics . . . . .

Bought last summer ( 2014) complete MKII running gear less body , from a friend who past away . He dismantle the MKII early 1980 , he did not remember the VIN Number . ( I have bought , engine , tranny , rear end , cross member , speedo , tach , etc, etc , Sunbeam sticker on the back driver side , ford sticker on the passenger side !!!!!!
