I wondered if you chaps could offer me some help please?

I'm in the process of refitting my windshield frame and I have become aware of the existence of these little critters.

I have a plan B way of fitting it but I quite like the idea of using these adjusters.

Now, it would seem that they are not available over here (UK) so I wondered if one of you kind gentlemen would be ind enough to explain to me how they work, because I can't find a picture of them anywhere or even better, post a pic for me then hopefully, if it's not rocket science I could cobble something similar together.

Many Thanks.

Windshield Post Adjusting Up Or Down Nuts

Hi, Sunbeam Specialties Part# WS58, Cost $21.75 Pr. You can find them in their on line catalog.
Contact Richard or Rick; 408-371-1642 Campbell, CA. 95008

They are very Deep Nuts with a large flange, they are screwed on before you place the frame back on the body and gasket, as you loosen the nut it raises the post. They work very well - only 1 pair are needed.

I just bought them from Rick couple a week ago , really help the installation of the windshield frames , a lot easier to make both side same lenght.

Send me your e-mail , will scan technical tips .
