Windshield Wiper linkage

I'm going through everything, one piece at a time while I have the car apart and today's subject is the linkage going from the wiper motor to the wipers themselves. Everything worked fine but when I removed it, the linkage has a slight bend to it, especially between the two wipers. It fits the openings in the body perfectly so I'm wondering if this is perfectly normal and I shouldn't worry about it.
Leave it as is and just clean it up?

Thanks guys. That's what I figured but just wanted to confirm. I found videos on Triumph Spitfire & Land Rover wiper motors and they all basically use the same one. It's probably not a coincidence that in rainy old England, the one thing the Prince of Darkness does reliably is windscreen wiper motors.

Interesting, one of the minor changes when converting a Tiger or Alpine from right to left or oposite is to change the holes with the washer ones. Change the park position and change the wiper arms. Old school info.

And change the the tube from the motor to the first wiper arm if I recall correctly to the new correct length and same for the winder thread inside the tube.
