Hey all,

For my winter project I need a OEM carb spacer that has the coolant that flows through it. Also looking for the following -

1. Throttle cable bracket that bolts to manifold.
2. Throttle spring bracket that bolt to manifold.
3. Coil bracket.
4. Heater T that sensor screws into.
5. Adapter that screws into back of manifold for brake booster vacuum.
6. All original wire hose clamps.

Danka!

Duke...the heather T is a big ticket item... and not that easy to come by.. the 2 manifold brackets are pricey for some reason..which is odd as easy to repro.

The booster fitting is a pain as the booster end one is alpine the other isny.

hose clamps can be obtained new repro from scott drake and the british ones from either john deer (IIRC? or someone green?) or some other tractor supplier.

Ballpark

Hard to have love when eBay and the dollar get involved, well the love of money is there.

I could certainly break free with some wire clamps and we should blab about other things on list.

MK2 guys contact Lee Bruce and I an ask what about the wheel trims and I say first thing to do is get all you MK2 guys to pool their interest.

Can you post some pics of these items, I can look through my bucket of misc small parts.

Dis one

Cast Iron useless as tits on a bull unless you have a original 260 that does not have a hole for temp sender. HTH did that happen? Possibly the engines were sold as industrial engines, cause the 289 made em boat or tractor equipment even back then?

Same car same problem

I am selling my blue car soon. My MK1 was modified and only has the fan shroud under the hood. I refuse to pick the good stuff of my blue car to sit on a shelf or in the corner of a garage till the MK1 keeper gets her step back from Modified to Personalized at least in the looks dept. I do need parts to refit MK1 but I do not suppose you have much laying about that really clean garage of yours.

If you want to use the part to fab up some please join the brotherhood of Tiger parts creators. It is yours to play with on loan if you'd like. I will never own a 2BBL Tiger unless I stumble on a survivor car that also has the asbestos carby pre heat choke on it still, FAT CHANCE of that.

Had friends buy 2 of those on last ³ years! It happens

If this is hooked up to the heater line does that mean it only has an accurate temp reading when the heater is on?

Carb spacer with coolant passages

I bought a collection of spare Tiger parts this last summer and seem to recall a carb spacer with inlet/outlet pipes. If you are still looking I will try to locate and post a pic.

Curious, what is the winter project?

That would be AWESOME! The WP is restoring my 260 to factory original to be displayed on an engine stand in my garage.

Here is the fitting on the back of the manifold and the block off plate just under it I need -

Hi Duke,

I looked today and wasn't able to find, all the spacers I found didn't have the heater tubes.

I did a quick EBay search and found these 2 listings, thought you might be interested.

I will also keep looking through my parts. If I find the carb spacer with the heater tubes will let you know or if you find one let me know.

Should have asked

you are are probably right about the 2 barrel. I should have asked to make sure..

I will still keep looking but pretty sure all I have are the 4 barrel spacers.

I'm curious of this 2v asbestos thing. Not sure I ever saw one but my car was only driven from 66-69 and then sat ever since. Does it have what you speak of? Only pic of engine that I have. Pick the car up soon and can take more.

I probably have everything Duke is asking for, but plan to keep all of this stuff in the event I sell so I can provide all original pieces.

Yes Pitt,

You have the spacer and the rear brake boosters fitting I need. I would like the carb too.
