Maybe some bigger valves too although I have a set of 63/64 289 heads with 1.84 intake 1.60 exhaustNice! Ready for a solid cam now.Hopefully there's thread sealant on the studs.
Thanks Warren just seems if someone added screw in studs maybe they did something more to headsI can measure the valves .

Just purchased these last week. Same date. I was looking for a set cast in 63 but might have to live with these.Was just looking at my 260 heads came off my 1965 mk1 has same 4M23 date anyone
else have there 260 heads laying around just wondering how many had the same date, also
looking at my valves and it does look Warrens heads may have oversized valves (nice)

I cracked a stud boss, thereby destroying the head by winding in a set of those a bit too energetically. I think that it is better to use a stud with a proper flat base to bear against the head, or be a bit more skilled that I was 40 years agoNice I wonder what kind of tool he used to put the square threads in. $23 for the 16 studs and not having to have to mill the bosses
should save on cost. Curious what's the date code on your 260 heads mine are the same as Warrens selling
