Damm X2
When I have smaller and less money pits I would like to change the steering.
I was thinking the steering wheel is more like a school bus or more like my old high school International step van, or one of my many VW vans. Matter of fact every car I have ever owned or thought about owning, except a 65 Ford Ranchero that started life as a 6 cyl car that was badly converted to a 289 car while retaining the 6 cyl front end drove better in a parking lot
Now back OT,
A neighbor has a early Jag E type and a Tiger that is still out there, I offered to do him a favor and let him drive my car so he could feel the brutality of the car and decide if it was up his alley.
Nice pitch huh, "you have a refined motor car" drive mine and see which car you like better. Maybe you should drive one and see if you can get used to it? You sure could fix up the Jag your Sprite and your VW Westie with the dough you'd get from me.
Still waiting on his reply....
Nice, Duke, Ha Ha... the pics of the weights fitness is not one of my weak points. Parking the Tiger anywhere in So. CA is a invite to a over ridden bumper, especially where parallel parking is un avoidable. I just would not drive down to my Tiger pal's home on Balboa Island,or the yacht club where you have to leave the keys in the ignition as it a parking bummer.
I enjoy my car as found running about the Palos Verdes peninsula up towards Marina Del Rey, cars and coffee in Irvine, Maybe Donut Derilicts in Huntington Beach, and will wait a good while before I open the restoration can o worms then I will call Dale.
