Hello fellow Tiger owners! Once again Lynn Park of the Cobra Owners Club of America is inviting our members to a low key and very reasonably priced track day in conjunction with the Cobra Club at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA. Our May CAT club meeting will take place there, and even if you don't run your car on the track, spectators are welcome. We'd love to get a good showing of cars. This a great chance to see (and hear!) Tigers, Cobras, and Mustangs running around a track for just a small gate entrance fee of $15. Don't hesitate to ask any questions.
TIGER TRACK DAY WILLOW SPRINGS! MAY 9th and 10th
CAT Club Meeting during the midday lunch break.
The fee for participating on the track is $200/car for both days with pre-registration which is due by May 8th. After that, pay at the event $250 (providing the event hasn’t been oversold).
Please register early and avoid the possibility of getting turned away.
Make checks payable to Cobra Owners Club of America and mail to:

This is not a race and there are no awards, but a great chance to enjoy a safe fun weekend with your car. $200 for a weekend is a great bargain, which will include a driving tips session courtesy of COCOA.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have not driven their Tiger on the track to learn in a safe and welcoming atmosphere!
Spectators are welcome and also car owners that are not driving on the track. There is a $15 fee at the entrance per person (everyone) at the front gate.
Saturday May 9th will have our May C.A.T. club meeting about noon. Come out and drive on the track, or just come watch and admire the Tigers as well as some phenomenal Cobras and the song a Ford V8 makes at full throttle.
There will be a tech inspection beginning at 8 a.m. with rules very similar to a Tigers United or C.A.T. autocross event.
1) Dual throttle return springs are required.
2) Battery hold down must be secure.
3) Anything that can slide around in the cab or the trunk must be removed
4) Tires, brakes, seatbelts must all be in good shape.
5) Check for any loose lugs, bolts, nuts, wheel bearings, etc.
6) Roll bar is needed for anyone wishing to participate in the faster groups.
7) Have a fire extinguisher attached to a fixed point with a metal bracket.
8) No leaks! We don’t want to oil down the track for that 7 figure car behind you.
9) Wear a SNELL 2000 or newer helmet.
There will be a MANDATORY driver’s meeting Saturday May 9th at 9 a.m.
For those wishing to attend both days there are options for lodging. In the past the Cobra Club has used the Oxford Suites in Lancaster https://www.oxfordsuiteslancaster.com
A closer, but more budget option, is the Devonshire Inn https://www.devonshireinn.com
If you have any questions, please contact Dan MacMedan at vicepresident@catmbr.org.
